SAS Welcomes its first corporate member
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 13 July, 2007 : - - Campaign group Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) are stoked to welcome Cornish surf company Global Boarders, as its first Corporate Member. With over 10,000 supporters, SAS offer a range of Membership opportunities including unwaged, single and family membership and are now pleased to be able to offer a new Corporate Membership for businesses that also wish to show their support.
For only £30 a year SAS Corporate Members will benefit from regular campaign newsletters, a certificate & membership stickers for company vehicles, exclusive access to the members area on the SAS website, member's discounts on SAS merchandise and best of all, peace of mind that you're helping keep the UK's recreational waters clean and safe for everyone to enjoy!
Global Boarders Director Mod Le Froy said 'Global Boarders are delighted to be SAS's first Corporate Member. It is no coincidence that Global Boarders, the UK's first Carbon Neutral surf school and surf vacations company, have decided to become a corporate member as we synergise with SAS in providing safe, sustainable surfing.
We are passionate about promoting responsible use of our beaches and waves and countering abuse through littering, pollution and erosion. Together with SAS Global Boarders will do everything we can to lead the way in sustainable surfing.'
SAS Membership Manager Wendy Nicolson said 'Any organisation can become a Corporate Member and we welcome all types of businesses to join SAS and show their support for the campaign. It's a great way to spread the word and let people know that you're doing your bit to protect the precious water environment that millions of people in the UK use for recreation and relaxation.'
