Vendor & Entertainment Support at all-time High: Disparity Among Community Organizations Cited

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 26 October, 2007 : - -  Haleiwa, HI - Organizers of the North Shore Festival, set to take place at Haleiwa Beach Park, November 10 and 11, as the kick-off to the big-wave winter surf season, regretfully announce today that this year's Festival has been cancelled. All vendor deposits will immediately be refunded in full. Despite an all-time high in vendor applications and entertainment interest, a shortfall of sponsorship dollars prevented the event from moving forward.

"We're sure it is going to come as a bitter disappointment to all the vendors who have submitted their applications, and to the residents of the community who were appreciative of the entertainment," said Festival organizers. "We would sincerely like to thank all of the sponsors, vendors, members of the community and the surf industry whose enthusiasm for this event was so inspiring."

All deposits will be fully refunded and those vendors who have questions should log on to northshorefestival.com and email via the "Contact Us" link. Alternatively, organizers can be reached at: (808) 499-8383.
