Tune into Boardriders TV Tonight for a Special Edition Featuring the Best Moments in Boardriders TV.
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 21 December, 2009 : - - For four years and 95 Episodes Boardriders TV has brought all the coolest surf, snow and skate action from both South Africa and abroad into the living rooms of South Africa, and so for the last episode of the 2009 season, we thought it would be a fitting tribute to put together a special edition featuring some of the best moments in Boardriders TV history.
Sorting through the past 95 episodes involved hours of viewing, capturing and editing, and looking back at all these amazing moments was a really enjoyable task. Trying to find the highlights from these shows and squeeze them all into a single half hour show, however, was the hardest part... But eventually these highlights were sorted through, trimmed down, and packaged up into Episode 24 of Season 4 - our 96th Episode - and will be broadcast tonight on Supersport One at 6pm.
As with all episodes of Boardriders TV, tonight's edition features the usual mix of action, humour and the biggest names in international and South African surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding doing what they do, all punctuated by a playlist of red hot tunes. From the likes of Kelly Slater, Dane Reynolds, Travis Logie and Brandon Jackson charging perfect waves all around the planet, to skaters like Danny Way, Tony Hawk, Puddy Zwennis and Braxton Haine blowing minds in the streets and parks of the world, the action is non-stop.
Mixed in with the surfing skating is some truly inspiring snowboarding footage featuring some of the world's best, among them Freddie Austbo and Chris Cab, as well as local rippers like Marcin Jekot.
Tonight's installment is a banger, so be sure to switch your decoder over to SS1 at 6pm tonight, or set your PVR to record 2009's last episode. You won't want to miss it! All the greatest moments in four years of South Africa's most core boardriding show in Episode 24 of Boardriders TV premiering on SuperSport One at 6pm December 21.
