Andy's done previous work with Levis, Lee, YSL, Jasper Conran and Pepe

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 8 February, 2010 : - - Animal, the UK’s leading freesports lifestyle brand is delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Cox as its new Sales Director. Andy brings more than 10 years of sales and marketing experience to the role having previously worked as sales and marketing director at Debut Sport and Leisure Ltd.

Prior to this, he has worked extensively within the sports and leisure industries promoting brands such as Levis, Lee, YSL, Jasper Conran and Pepe, covering multi channel distributions including independents through to National accounts and mail-order.

Commenting on his new position Andy said: “I feel honoured to have been appointed to such a high profile position as Sales Director and board member of the team at Animal. It is a well established team with clear goals and clear direction from the CEO and which brings with it huge demands.

I will be reviewing all areas of the wholesale business and my experience in both wholesale and retail will add a new dimension to Animal. I totally believe in the brand and its opportunity and I will be working towards positioning Animal as the lifestyle brand of choice.”

Speaking of Andy’s appointment, Chief Executive of Animal Kevin Keaney said:

Andy joins the experienced executive team at Animal consisting of Kevin Keaney; CEO, Simon Warren; Creative Director, Amanda Morrissey; Marketing Director, Richard Tape; General Manager, Scott Eden; Product Director and Jimmy Reynolds; Retail Director.
