Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 12 May, 2010 : - - Day four of the Stand Up Paddle World Tour resumed this morning with waist to chest high waves. Bumpy but consistent wind swell and intermittent rains made for challenging conditions.
The quarter finals of the trials ran with some stand out performances from the international field. With the tide filling in we have a delay in the action, the semi-finals of the trials are schedule to start at 7pm tonight. Surf reports are predicting larger surf, with the top 16 competitors poised and ready to compete.
Competitors advancing into the semi finals of the trials are: Brandon Rambo, Remi Quique, Alexis Deniel , David Latastere, Fred Branger, John Hibbard, Ibon Amatriain, Kuuikaikapualiokai Kawai, Remi Arauzo, Benett Brecql, Laurent Pujol and Sebastien Minvielle. This field will be narrowed to 8 stand up paddle surfers moving on the compete in the main event.
