Goldenbreed drops in on Harley..
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 20 May, 2010 : - - Harley Ingleby - one of Golden Breeds Team Rider is currently the ASP World Longboard 2009 Champion. Harley's been shooting photos, developing fins and enjoying some great surf. See below for the full update in Harley's own words..
Hi All
It's been pretty quiet since the Malfunction event. I won our regional titles a couple of week ago down at Bonny Hills and got a 2nd in the 8ft div.
Like most years April/May has been pretty great for waves so far. Plenty of nice offshore winds and good ground swells. Nothing real big but super perfect. I've been trying to shoot every morning with Tom Woods from stsurfimages.com making the most of this time of year.
I've been working closely with FCS developing a new set of longboard thruster fins and also a bigger quad set of fins that I have been using a lot.
Other than that I have been on the Hwy a bit doing some rep work for Surftech, GoPro cameras and of course Robert August surfboards. With land and water temperature has been still pretty warm - perfect for my vast array of Golden Breed Boardies! It's been good to score some different waves between the Central Coast and Tweed Heads.
Until next time, keep surfing! Cheers. H.

Seasons Change
Here in Noosa we are preparing for the winter with a new shipment of polar fleece pullovers and hoodies. It just doesn’t seem right to be unpacking these when the temp outside still around 25 degrees.
Our run of autumn swell is continuing and normally crowds are down this time of year, but this swell event has coincided with two consecutive long weekends, which has kept the line-up crowded. Our strange line up of sand is also continuing, with the First Point bank breaking in front of the surf club and the Little Cove line-up still zippering all the way across the cove.
Let’s hope the swells continue for the Noosa Malibu Clubs Wrecks and Relics event in early June. It’s become such a popular event that entries were full up within a week of the event being announced.
Don’t worry tho- it’s a specialty event and only open to crusty old baby boomers. Watch this space for more updates on this event. If you are ever traveling to beautiful Queensland - Noosa, pop in and say hi @ Golden Breed Surf Noosa, 15 Noosa Drive, Noosa Heads, QLD, AUSTRALIA, 4567.
